Feature writing
Do you make the most of your company’s expertise? A magazine can be a great way to share knowledge with your clients, to show you’re leading the thinking and tell them about other services you offer. Although putting together a regular publication can seem daunting, it’s worth the effort.Case study: A² Magazine
We helped Arup write some stories for A², the firm’s quarterly magazine for its consulting clients. The brief was to deliver innovative business thinking in plain English. So what did we do?We asked the right questions
We started by interviewing some inspirational people, talking to them about everything from how businesses can use design to improve their performance to whether companies can make going green pay.Research is the key to a good interview. We find out everything we can about people and their work before we speak to them. That way, we can ask the right questions and bring their words to life.
We had something to say
Although A² is well written (of course), it’s the great content that makes it really valuable. Style should be a window through which to view the facts, not a curtain to obscure them. And we said it clearly
A strict word count helped us distil our thinking and make sure our words were clear.Think a client magazine might be good for your business? Drop us a line and we’ll tell you in 200 words how we can help you set your business apart from the competition.
