Held in December 2007, One Big Day gathered together experts from Arup and the HSBC Climate Partnership along with hundreds of people from across industry, academia and politics. The goal for the day: to explore how we can achieve a low-carbon UK by 2050. We wrote web copy and adverts for the event.

The One Big Day website was hosted by New Scientist — where adverts for the event also appeared. As well as writing ad copy to encourage people to sign up for the event, Polon wrote web copy summing up the day and encouraging people to take part in the forum. Their views contributed to a report submitted to the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen.
