Technical reports aren’t just for technical people. They’re also for politicians, the media and busy people in industry, people who might find the detail a bit dry but are interested in the story it tells. Without a compelling story, your report could quickly become more fodder for the recycling bin.

We helped the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) copy-edit a joint report about resource management. How to Deliver a Resource Management Strategy argues that much of what we call waste should really be considered a resource; it contains materials which we could use again or turn into energy.
