Writing NHS leadership case studies
“Polon’s copy is always accurate, to the brief and intelligently tailored to meet the requirements of our many different audiences.”
The Clinical Leaders Network (CLN) is a national, professional network for practising clinicians – involving everyone from doctors and nurses to opticians and midwives.
The network enables clinicians to develop and exchange professional learning with their peers and to lead service improvements in their local area. Its aim is to improve care for patients.
We interviewed clinicians and managers to produce a series of stories about this new leadership programme. The results give people an insight into the network’s progress.
“In Wirral, the Map of Medicine helped to develop care pathways that meet patient needs and improve outcomes. As a result the patient journey from referral to treatment for age-related macular degeneration has been reduced from ten weeks to ten days.”
Posted on the CLN’s website and printed in its brochure, the stories we wrote offer an honest look at the challenges and benefits of networking.
